Asked by: Karin Smyth (Labour - Bristol South) Monday 20th February 2023 Question to the Department of Health and Social Care: To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps he will take to improve mental health among people under the age of 25 claiming Personal Independence Payment. Answered by Maria Caulfield - Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Department for Business and Trade) (Minister for Women) We are committed to increasing investment into expanding and transforming mental health services by at least £2.3 billion a year by 2023/24 so that an additional two million people, including those under 25 claiming personal independence payment, can get the National Health Service funded mental health support they need. |
